2026 Marketplace Application -

San Diego Marketplace – Expanded for 2026!

Are you a San Diego County artisan, maker, or farm-based creator with handmade products and a passion for sharing your craft with the community? After an incredible first year, we are thrilled to announce that the San Diego Marketplace is returning for 2026—and continuing to grow!

This year, we are proud to offer two unique Marketplace experiences, giving local creators even more opportunities to connect with fairgoers at the San Diego County Fair.

1. The San Diego Maker Marketplace (Traditional Market – Expanded!)

Located in the Wyland Building, this curated artisan shopping destination will be larger than ever, featuring 5000 Sq Ft. of handmade goods. Ideal for food artisans and makers producing items such as:

  • Jewelry

  • Pottery & ceramics

  • Artwork & prints

  • Candles & scents

  • Apparel & accessories

  • Woodwork

  • Home décor
    …and more—all handcrafted by you.

This remains a consignment-style marketplace, perfect for creators who want to sell at the Fair without committing to staffing a full-time booth for all 20 days. We handle staffing, sales, reporting, and logistics so you can focus on creating.

2. Farm2U Market – New for 2026

Located inside the Farm2U Exhibit, this marketplace highlights farm-based, agriculture-inspired, and farm-sourced products from Southern California creators.

The Farm2U Market is dedicated to items that are:

  • Made on a farm

  • Created with ingredients grown or produced on a farm

  • Sourced from local agricultural producers

Examples include:

  • Goat-milk soaps & lotions

  • Beeswax candles & honey-based skincare

  • Herbal teas, tinctures, and apothecary goods

  • Dried floral arrangements

  • Farm-made jams, jellies, and preserves (shelf-stable only)

  • Wool, yarn, and fiber arts

  • Olive-oil–based products

    …and other farm-to-handmade creations.

If your products are connected to agriculture or the land, this is your marketplace.

Volunteer Requirement

To ensure a fully staffed and engaging guest experience, each participating company is required to complete one 8-hour volunteer shift within the San Diego Marketplace or Farm2U Market. This may include demonstrations, helping with store operations, or interacting with visitors.
